The Xyron 500 accepts patented drop-in cartridges containing either Acid Free Permanent or Acid Free Removable/Repositionable adhesives. Both of these adhesives have been designated "CK OK" by Creating Keepsakes Magazine. What this means is that Xyron’s Acid Free adhesives have met industry-accepted guidelines and can be used safely for preservation purposes. Acid Free Permanent Mounting Adhesive: This product was developed specifically for the memory book market. The Xyron Acid Free Adhesive has passed the Photo Activity Test (PAT) and has been certified "Acid Free" by an independent laboratory. The adhesive is permanent on most surfaces. Refill is 18' long.
Acid Free Repositionable Mounting Adhesive: This adhesive allows you to reposition your item over and over. It allows easy removal from glass, walls, refrigerators, dry erase boards, paper and most other surfaces. A great way to make signs, create posters or mount hundreds of items. Removable adhesive is also great for use in schools and with teaching aids. Refill is 18' long.
